Buying sks rifles by the crate?

Ya I am sure they are still in great shape unless the roof of your barn leaks like crazy or something. when the Russians put these into storage after refurbishing they were not placed in climate controled environments I dont think
Ill bet they are better then the guns available now as it seems that most of them nowadays are in pretty poor condition. Id go dig em out and check them out!

I'm with you on that one, I bought a crate of SKS's in the mid 90's, all but two are still in there, box is in the rafters of my barn can't imagine they are any good by now, it's not heated, not one of my smarter purchases, turned out to be a complete waste of $700.00.
Go check them out! With the crate and rifles you could almost recoup your origanal $700.00 if they are still okay.

If anyone knows any vendor/supplier willing to sell a crate of sks rifles by the crate I would be very interested. I'd take a crate, anyone wanna get a private group buy going?

Don't bother even looking at them, probably dust by now, I tell you what,, I will send you $500 cause there are two missing and will pay shipping and you send them to me!! ;) all kidding aside, as long as they weren't in a swamp the are likely still pretty good if they were still in the cosmoline!

Most places are getting the rifles in in cardboard boxes instead of crates , due to shipping, but if you don't want the crate then Cabelas has a Black Friday sale on laminate SKS for $189.99, probably the best price around for laminate! And you can look through a few!

They didnt have the packing grease on them when you brought them home and into your barn?
There are many Cold War Bunkers in Europe that are not heated and they all seem to have kit at the ready ...
But, if someone needs to buy a case of sks then why not surf one of the site sponsors and see if they can work a deal.
Never knew LA was a sponsor...

I agree with buying a crates worth one by one and hand picking them. 90% out their is garbage and the savings are pretty low, even when I looked for a crate a year ago. It averaged 180 ish each after tax....

I think pics of a big line-up of SKS rifles would be cool to share on the forums.
The gun dealer in Mcadam was going to sell me a crate, no problem, that was a year ago and price was very good, if anyone wants one around the Atlantic provinces, try them as shipping from lever would likely be high! I just want the crate now!! SKS and mosin/ SVT!

I'm sure Ross would sell a crate to anyone, but as mentioned it would be good to see what you are buying first.
