Buying Tikka Varmint, Super Varmint or Tactical ?

Hi,

Can you help me to decide my model of tikka? I want to buy a Tikka Rifle in next days. My three models is Varmint (stainless), Super Varmint & Tactical.

What do you think about that? +/-?

It would be in 7mm Rem Mag or 300 Win Mag caliber.

I would go for the stainless Varmint. The Super Varmint is the same rifle with a rail and an adjustable comb, and the Tactical is the same as the Super Varmint with a matte finish and threaded barrel. The stainless varmint is the best bang for your buck for the heavy barreled Tikka's.

+1. I took my Varmint, added a $60 EGW rail and a $50 Triad Tactical cheekrest, and came out ahead of the Super Varmint (which they don't seem to make in LH!).

The 'tactical' and 'super varmint' to me are too pricey for what you get.
 
I would go for the varmint, I have had them all. Here is a pic of the handle, more than $50 though. I also put on an aluminum shroud, I like cheek pad ammo holders..I sold thin gun. I have a super in 204 Ruger, the rail is not cheap,it actually pins in.
