Buying Used

All of the above.

I never had a bad experience buying used guns, or anything, on the EE by following the above mentioned precautions.

I see buying a used gun as an advantage in that it has been tried and tested. Never bought a used gun with a problem. Out of the 4 guns I bought new, two had issues and one of these had to be sent for warranty work.

As well the vast majority of us gunners, are honest and polite people. Never met one I didn’t like, online or in a face to face.

As the saying goes, an armed society is a polite society:cool:

For the most part. I paid top dollar for a rare gun that has a blemish not disclosed and pictures didn’t pick it up from a member with a high trader rating:( A couple of times I had pm’s saying “I’ll take it” only to flake out. No biggie. As for online persona, well being anonymous causes folks to argue for argument sake, or say stupid things or lash out on a whim. I suppose if our real identity was our username there would be no need for banning folks:p However sine 2005 for me it’s been a fun ride with lots of various items bought and sold. Greentips runs a pretty tight ship. Plus the price of admission is right:)
