The mag in the pic says BX25
They always were because they were designed and manufactured for the 10/22 and Charger pistol. Anything that they put charger pistol on is limited to 10 rounds. Silly but that's what happened when ruger made the stupid pistol. Now other magazines were designed and manufactured for everything else and since they made them for a certain firearm it's ok ie they make it for the 10/22 regardless of what it works in it was designed and manufactured for the rifle only. Like the XCT pistol magazines they were made for the pistol version the other ones for the rifle and since they work in both because they're the same freaken thing just designed and manufactured for 1 of the 2 it's legal.
It's kind of silly but that's what happened.
They made a BDX 25 X2 which is 2 magazines and for Canada they made a BDX 50 and it's labled 50 and has no wording of charger in it just sr22 and 10/22 and the bolt action rifle.
So just cause its designed for a handgun and rifle its illegal yet other mags are exactly the same?
Does this include the butler creek hot lips 10/22 mags as well?
The butler creeks are safe and will continue to be safe, the bx-25 has been banned ever since the bureaucrats got their #### beaters on the packaging that said "charger pistol" on it.Hope not...
No, no mag other than the Ruger bx-25 is affected. The ruger bx-25 is only prohibited because they f***ed up and said it was made to fit their Charger pistol on the package. What about the other mag? Such hc3r......etc
Does it affected?
Everything is going to be ok lolWhat about the factory 10 rounders??? Are they prohibited too? Maybe its was a mistake and its really the 10 rounders that are prohibited??

I was at the Cabelas in WA the other day and noted that the "current" packaging for the US BX-25s no longer makes any mention of the charger pistol.
I would be willing to guess that the BX-25s being sold by BassPro have the same "non Charger mentioning" packaging...
Either way... stupid law.
This reminds me of that scene from Saving Private Ryan where they mistake James Fredrick Ryan from Minnesota for James Francis Ryan from Iowa and tell him his brothers are dead. Then he becomes hysterical despite them telling him it was a mistake.
Everything is going to be ok lol
