I have sectioned lots of cartridges down the middle to see how they were constructed. What is bxn 53? Czech 7.62x39?
Combloc stuff is usually a steel rod with a slightly tapered front, seated in a lead envelope, then seated again in the steel jacket that is brass or copper plated. The steel used for the drawn jacket and cases is some of the cleanest I have ever encountered, almost 100% ferritic.
