I have a semi auto warrior that runs like a top.. even if I don't clean it between 2 day clay rampages with around 500 rounds. Never seen a jam other that DA slugs FTE.

90% of the rounds are #4-8 cheap crappy walmart winchester bulk :)

Same here. Pity the fools that think they have to spend top dollar.

Never had an issue with those Wal-Mart or Cdn Tire dirty cheapies as so many refer to them as from any Browning I ever owned and I shot them though first a Gold Spotting Clàys, then a Silver 3.5" waterfowl and lastly a 3.5" Maxus!! Never once had a FTF or FTE.

I know it's the ####ty Winchester shells because they got stuck in a 28 year old 870 that's had over 10 thousand shells through it and is slick as butter. The shells are Junk!

Shells are likely from a bad lot but never heard anything good from the low steel hulls.

There are countless posts on various forums about value shells, such as those from Canadian Tire or Wal Mart, getting stuck in the chambers of many makes of guns. Just because they work fine in some guns doesn't mean there are many others who don't have problems with them. Pretty hard to dispute all those posts where people claim to have problems with them, unless of course all of those people are telling fables.

I have a CZ912, Turkish gun very similar to the Warrior. From day one, it hated anything shooting at 1145fps. Would cycle like the op's issues. Now anything 1200fps like Score, Challenger, or Winchester heavy target, it loves! 5000 rounds + later and it's never missed a beat. But it still hates the lighter stuff.

Properly polished chambers eliminate "cheap" ammo issues. It can be from the factory (on some models) or done your self with little effort and expense after the purchase. IIRC most if not all shotgun ammo available now is steel case headed. Some is brass washed some isn't. I have a semi that is both cheap and reliable, a Baikal MP153. I guess you can both after all.

The Op hasn't given a very accurate description of what the gun is actually doing . either a fail to extract and eject the fired shell or a fail to feed a new loaded shell from the magazine . also whether the gun was striped and given a good cleaning be for use . like the others I am thinking the use of cheap promo shell is more likely the cause . I had an 870 express (an 1988 model ) that worked perfectly with any shells other than the cheap Winchesters . they instantly turned that gun into a single shot and a cleaning rod would need to be dropped down the muzzle to nock the fired shell out of the chamber as the extractor would tear through the rim of the shell if the action was forced open . I certainly would not be taking a file to any internal parts .if its a new gun take it back for warranty or to a qualified gunsmith .

If I remember correctly, this is OP's first semi, and possibly even first gun. Cheap shells may be to blame, but it also may be inexperience in handling and cleaning. Would you be able to make a video of what's happening? It may be easier for us to see the root of this problem.

Keep doing that for 10 years and let me know how it goes....

If memory serves, its his first shotgun, and he is relatively new to the sport. He chose to do a full strip of the gun before shooting it. Now it doesn't work and he wants to take a file to it. I wonder if this is going to turn into a warranty claim?
