Thanks to all of you for keeping things civil and of course responsible. We are being monitored daily (if you have not figured that out)!! We have enough burden (all the fzcking gangbangers use guns) placed on our responsible, law-abiding shoulders.

Thanks for 'manning up' and moving on!!

That Savage is one nice looking rig!! I know that they will shoot well!

The rifle was purchased for $999 from a dealer I'm no longer going to deal with. I won't go out and say it, but if you look elsewhere on CGN, you'll find who they are (a site sponsor), and what my position is with them.

FYI Frontier in your neck of the woods had it listed for the same price. ;)

Muzzle break looks very sweet. Got out to the range with it installed yet? I have a .223 too, am considering one just so I can watch the bullet hit those furry little buggers!

Unfortunately, no range time yet. Coming home from work late at night, having a beer or what-not, sleeping, then being woken up for work the next day.

Don't worry, I've got unused vacations they forgot about coming up. :D

so wait wait wait, why is the tactical federal ammo box there? you also get these results with factory ammo?!

Looks great.

I still have yet to try out a braked .308

a decent recoil pad and a heavy barrel is enough for me but i can imagine better followup with one
