C-19 Canadian Ranger rifle will be available to the public

Apparently Sako USA has announced at the SHOT show that the Tikka C-19 Canadian Ranger rifle will be available for sale to the public in the USA. I can only assume it will therefore be available here in Canada as well. The Ranger's crest will not be present on the publicly available version, but the rifle will be otherwise identical.

The preliminary cost estimate for the replacement project is $28 million or $4,000 per rifle, he said. That cost includes everything from development and testing to additional equipment, including hard and soft cases for the weapons and a two-year supply — almost two million rounds — of ammunition.
