Just a thought , has anyone considered the ramifications if your restricted pistols should be lost to theft or frame damage. Under the current Liberal attack on licensed firearms owners and pending passing of C-21 would it be safe to:mad: assume you would be #### out luck regarding replacement? Just a thought which makes one wonder about even more theft prohibited home storage.

I haven't got a straight answer from my insurance company yet, if after C-21 passes, that my handguns will be covered under insurance anymore?? This is because they cannot be replaced if stolen or lost in a fire. The insurance doesn't really want to pay out if they don't have too on a $2,000 pistol. I guess time and lawyers will tell the tale on this one down the road as it happens?

So in reality it is a handgun ban with grandfathering and not some mushy 'freeze'. I can't recall a single media report on this calling it what it is.

They still have value because they can be sold. The insurance will pay out the value. You can talk to an exporter for a value appraisal if exported.

True, but you never know with insurance companies? Just look at Florida and California, State Farm and Allstate have begun to pull out due to the huge claims from flood, fire, hurricanes, etc. Massive financial loss to the insurance companies and their shareholders.

Well how many people are going to sell them when they get too old to shoot. I mean are they going to start a geriatic wing in jail.
