I want to post some groups in the online forum here. I just want to make sure I am measureing center to center correctly. I have a set of Verner calipers, do I just measure the C-C of the two holes that are the farthest apart?

measure the inside edge of one and the outside edge of the other to give C-C?

Thanks for clarification

Measure OUTSIDE to OUTSIDE of the shots furthest apart, and then subtract the diameter of the bullet.... 0.22 inches!

That way, you eliminate any guessing of what the center actually is....

Here is what i do.

Shoot my group, and then fire a single round far outside of the group. When you go to measure, measure first the single shot. Often the lead around the hole will be anywhere from .19-.22, but usually around the .210 range. It depends on barrel type, ammo, paper, barrel fowling, ect.

then measure the group and subtract the bullet hole diameter from the group (Edge to edge) measurement.
