A friend gave me 5 old boxes of Imperial .22LR made by Canadian Industries Ltd and they look pretty old.

One is in a gold cardboard box with its original Army and Navy price tag of .99

The other four are in clear boxes priced 1.37 and 1.47

Are these little collectible Canadiana pieces or just fit for a one-way trip down the pipe?

The boxes, if in mint condition, are likely worth more empty than full.
Gotta be damn near perfect, or really rare if not, to be worth more than tin can shooting stock.

Go to a couple gun shows and keep an eye out for a cartridge collectors show and go see for yourself.

Guys collect the stuff because it's interesting and affordable. There are not a lot of gold bars being exchanged for 30 year old rimfire ammo on this side of the Border. Maybe in the US side, if the stupidity there does not settle out soon though. :D
Check out cheaperthandirt for 22 ammo!

Cheers
