C.I.L. 950 T Cal .223

I was at the range today with my CIL 950T. Fired the first shot, it ejected as it should. The next 5 rds had to be pushed out with a cleaning rod. When I got home, I found the EXTRACTOR missing!
SO, I need the EXTRACTOR kit: spring, detent ball and EXTRACTOR. Anyone have what I need??

I think you need an extractor and its detent and spring. I think these would be standard Savage parts.

You might try Western Gun parts in Edmonton.

I called them and the nice lady said to call back on Monday and speak to an older employee who's been doing parts for 50-60 years. I took a chance and ordered the kit for a modern day 112 "J". The parts look the same in Numrich's parts book.
 
For what it's worth, the 950T should be a SAVAGE 110. The .243 and .308 are definitely the Savage 110

I ordered the extractor kit for the 112. It arrived the other day and Buck installed it in the bolt. It fit perfectly and the rifle functions as it should.
 
I picked up a salvage grade 110J varmint rifle (intermediate action single shot) in .220 Swift that walked into my shop. Very much like the 950T. Fortunately I didn't fire it - the bolt had been cobbled together using a shortened 110 bolt body. The firing pin had been adapted as well, the tip filed to a point not unlike a crochet hook. I rebuilt the bolt, installing a .223 head. Rebarreled it to .223. Shot it in the ISU 300m match at Connaught. Still have it, very decent, plain rifle.
