C No 7 22in MK! Long Branch 1946

This gun certainly doesn't fit my notion of a "parts gun". Although its been altered' it is still completely usable in it's present state. A "parts gun" to me denotes a gun that would be unfire-able in its present state.
I don't think they meant it in a derogatory way but that it would get more money if he parted it out rather than sell it as is.

I think SLUG is pretty close on his $500. valuation . I have a Mint one with transit box that would be a good $1500. + . Once any collectable rifle
like this one is heavily modified the value drops like a stone , as well as who even wants it . It would be a good shooter in a single shot rifle if
military stuff is your thing . Restoration is another path for someone . Selling it in the $500. +/- is the easiest way.
How about a couple pics to show the OP what his did look like and of course for us to drool over, cheers Bob

I think that a $500 price isn't unreasonable if the bore is good. It could be restored nicely, but it would still be a labour of love.

But what is there to restore? Basically nothing there.

If the receiver and bolt had matching factory serials...but if they are blank, then...little there. Too bad really.

That's not to say that the rifle is junk, it isn't, but is greatly diminished.
