C Product Mags Stick?

Well, if they are riveted (and not a couple little indents on the front and back made at the factory) then that is most certainly your problem. You will need to file down the rivet. I don't recommend just using them until you fix as that rivet can scratch up and mar your mag well pretty quick. Once the rivet is filed down enough (shouldn't take that much) then they should work fine and drop free fine. Usually the Cproducts that are 5 round from the factory are slick and fine. CProducts does make the 5/30 round mag as they are required in some states for hunting. Perhaps Questar got a great deal on some unpinned mags and riveted them up themselves at their US office. 99.9% of the stuff from Questar is perfect, and they usually make sure everything is perfect. None the less, it won't take much work to get those mags working good.

I don't think so. Did you couple the mags using the Questar coupler of the Dlask coupler before you tried them? Would it not insert at all, just not fully seat in? A couple things could have done this. Some of the mags ship(ped) with really strong springs and some not so much. In my Remington R-15 I need to use the ones with the really strong springs. But I noticed that in one of my colts, the really strong spring prevents it from functioning (especially if trying to insert on a closed bolt. On an open bolt most times with the strong spring it won't pick up the first round and I have to use the forward assist to get it moving. When I put a couple of the less strong springs in, they function great. If your mag goes most of the way in before it binds up, it could be that the bottom "flap" where the two sides meet at the front is bent out a bit. This can happen if one were to put one of the Dlask couplers in and not be mindful of this piece might need filing to get it to fit correctly. I don't think the Questar couple would do this as it is light plastic especially in that area in question.
The only issue I ever had with the LAR15 mags was went I used my well used set on a Tavor I was demoing. It would not hold the bolt open or kick the rounds up fast enough until I put in the new heavy springs Mark at Questar sent me. When I demoed the gun the first time it was extremely dirty and went "burp" a couple times, and if the mags had functioned perfectly on that day, would likely have dumped a few mags all at once.
I also picked up a CProducts magazine from Questar with the same issue. On mine it wasn't the rivet causing the problem, it was the sides of the magazine that were tight against the magwell. After some time with a sander the fit got better but at that point i just tossed it and bought some pmags.
I have a new C Products mag (from the EE here) riveted to 5 and have no such problems. It has worked perfectly.
If we were in the States I would suggest tossing it and picking up another for $9.99 but, here I would simply send it back for a refund if I was not happy with the product/performance.
