I can't search anymore and my brain hurts....who knows where the MPI is in relation to the POA when shooting at 25m for a correct 100m zero with a C7/Elcan? I know it's low but how low in mm would be appreciated.

Pulling out my zero roamer sheet I got years ago, here's what I have:

Diemaco

Zero Roamer

Clicks to adjust at 25m and 100m
C-7 weapons with C79 Optical Sight.

C-7A1 - LSW
200m
Zero MPI
at 100m

Indicates that POA should be 50 mm below POI.

Hope that helps.

If you need a pic of the zero roamer, I can do that tomorrow maybe.

The 50mm makes sense but I think it's the other way around. Impact below POA...due to sight over bore distance. I would love to see this roamer...PM me. Thanks

At 25m, POI should be 50mm below POA. So that at 100m, it will be 50mm high and then at 200m POI=POA. 4 clicks per inch at 25m. Approx as we are talking about the elcan.

Here's the card in question:

And here's the reverse side, for iron sights:

Oh, and for scale, each unit (4 small hash marks, one number) is 2.5cm.

Also, note the difference in vertical and horizontal adjustments on the reverse side. With a C-8, each click is 4.7cm vertical, and 3.8cm horizontal, ADJUSTING THE IRON SIGHTS.

Dial it in like a scope. copy numbers for ref. Here is what I tell folks that have to look at markings for direction, the common screw, screw it in poi goes down, screw it out , poi goes up, same for windage, screw in , go left, screw out, go right on poi.

The question wasn't about how to adjust the sight just where rnds should be hitting @ 25m for a proper zero. Used when there is only access to a 25m range and zero must be confirmed. The question has been answered....thanks to all.
