C7A2 Balance issues.

swap the ####e sling for vickers or vtac or something awesome. that will help balance things out. In reality, the only time you will be shooting the damn thing is toets and annual range quals. unless your cfsac. So I wouldn't really put too much thought into balancing. Cause the other times you are shooting it, you are shooting with bfa so it doesn't really matter.

when you get deployed, things are different.

I'm having balance issues. What should I do? :D

deckard,

what you should do? you should take over a small 3rd world country lol.

btw,

any serving cbt arms soldiers, do you not do rifle pt, log pt, the old standards - chin ups, push ups, sit ups and a lot of running? i'm sure i no the answer, lol.

the army may get new kit and may change drills or wording of said drills. but a soldier is a soldier is a soldier. nothing realy changes, ethier your fit to fight or you make excuses and blame kit.

for insperation just have to look at what lesser army's have done with poor kit. or to make my point look at the brits in the falklands. crappy kit great soldiers/training.

a real soldier will learn, adapt and overcome.

The guy is CIVPOL.

Yep, CIVPOL. Damn right.

But as far as I am concerned, I'm always on the road (even when the army is on lockdown (Souter, Eggers, Falcon...)) and don't sit in my base like most of the military do in Kabul and the surrounding. I'm carrying my a$$ in a Gwagen with no military escort and zero IED protection in Mazar, Herat, TK and Bamyan... Just ask NTM-A what they do and where they go in Kabul.

For your own knowledge, I'm just heading for a *** days recce between FOBs and PRT's to make a road threat assessment in the mountain of **** (**** of ****). No ***, no ****... Just plain and simple **** and ******....and a pimped C7.

But there is a desk clerk somewhere in the capital who decided that CIVPOLs don't need all the tools available. I wish he would have the balls to come with us. But just a few months ago, we were issued NVG, IR illuminator and that cheap Insight light for your info. I personnally use a surefire and a Larue FUG.

Read me right, I don't mean to disrespect any military (was in reserve before myself) when I say that we go out even when they are on lockdown, but I can assure you that CIVPOLs are taking a lot of risk that many don't or can't.

Just my 2 cents out of Afg. ;)

Holy OPSEC! Maybe you should re read the IMO sheet you signed in theatre, talking about equipment, vehicles, timings, locations and durations is a HUGE no no.

No friggin' doubt.

I'd suggest you take out route, location, and operational details from your post IntelGDR691. The bad guys have internet, too.

You're right. Got it. Did it. But I can't do it in the quotes.

But, on purpose, times and places were not exactly right. But it was more to show examples and of what has been done and still done by us.

Thanks.
