C8 Barrel Sleeves

Alright, so I used some of my holiday time to machine a couple of sleeves and barrels and assemble my C8A3 clone.

I used an Armalite OD green grip from Wolverine, a butt I scored at an Edmonton gunshow and some good 'ol Krylon for the handguards.

She turned out quite handsomely, I must say.

Thanks to everyone that helped me with this project.

It is for mounting a M203 or can be changed out, for other sleeves "for mounting Supressors or use's with the Simon round"

The Simon sleeve has nothing to do with the Simon round, they unfortunately share a name and nothing more. The simon round isn't in use by the CF.

Sleeve is so the Diemaco M203 can be mounted. The front portion also allows the mounting of a bayonet but obviously only a few inches will protude beyond the muzzle.

Correct the CF version will not fit a simon round ;)

One Shot brought a limited run in, but they're all sold out. You could message them and see if they'll ever get any more.

The complete upper from the USA might be able to be imported under the $500 firearms parts limit with the correct paperwork - if the limit for Canada is still $500. I recall reading that for purchases greater than $100, buyers in foreign countries can fill out paperwork for up to $200, but Canada is allowed up to $500. You would have to verify with the US DoS though.
