C8 Rear BUIS

Certain units have been using the ARMS 40 for ages. I doubt they were originally sourced from CC.

There is a Canadian variant because standard ones won't fit a Weaver rail without modification. I don't know if they also compensate for the fact that our Weaver rail sits higher (0.040?) than the Picatinny one.

Look at the accessory in the 7 o'clock position in the pic from the CC website.

I never said that they don't sell/market them. I was simply pointin out that the Cdn models have been in use in the CF for quite some time. Maybe they come from Colt Canada maybe thy don't. I doubt they were the original source.

Do you think the CF buys their Elcans from Colt?

A lot of stuff comes from the manufacturer themselves and other things through a distributor like MD Charlton.

Ya. I do... Like any other retailer, they can bid on contracts. Like any other buyer, the CF doesn't necessarily buy direct from a manufacturer.
