C8 SFW build questions

i found this picture during some of my own research. i found it on a french forum my google translate said its a real C8 SFW the a airsofter was using as his reference picture, but again internet translator so could have been an incorrect translation.

What paint colour is the closest to what the CF used to paint the black handguards?
Can anyone supply me a closer pic of the motiuk lower.
I'm thinking about getting one but kinda on the fence. Wish they didt have their markings on the other side.

I used Krylon OD on my Norc that always looked pretty close whenever it's laying next to a C7.

Black hand guards would still be correct. The last weapon I was issued before retiring was a FTHB with the old black guards, pistol grip and fiberlite butt stock.

Understood. IIRC the colour is called Canadian Average Green. They are not painted, the colour is part of the molding process. Rebel Rouser will have a more in depth answer as to the colour etc.
