C96 Broomhandle value

I think this is a C96 Export gun with the stock/gun/parts all numbered the same, bore is nice and shiny, finish is great.
I am not going to put it on the EE, trying to sell it locally so that the new owner can look at it and shoot it.
I would like to get an idea of fair value, what the gun is worth, realistically .

If the barrel and bluing is nice and all matching and not broken (i.e.: a replaced bolt stop, etc.), then without the matching stock, I'd say about 2K and add another 750 for the stock. So if were me and I wanted to sell, I'd ask 2750

Thank you for that, the value of these guns seem to be all over the map...

That's the "sell it fast price" for what I'd consider a shooter. If it's in Excellent condition, the value could easily be more than double that estimate. (or more if particularly rare for any reason). I might consider sale by an auction house and "let it ride" to see what price it might realize

If that blueing is original and and the gun isa all matching, i would agree with OBF’s 2nd post. Double. $5k and up at auction or the right buyer.

Thanks for the info, Bluing is all original, but, it is not perfect. it is worn somewhat in areas by the trigger guard and under the barrel. I don't think that it is a "rare" gun.
It is all matching.

Why the hell not sell it on the EE? Give all interested parties the chance to buy. Why limit your sales market?
