Bought on on the sale, a 6-24.
Impulse buy before I read this thread..
Guy at the counter (Edmonton) said lifetime warranty.
Box says lifetime warranty.
Couldn’t find a “made anywhere” identification on the scope or box...
First impressions after mounting (I have not shot it yet):
-parallax knob is really tight and what bugs me is as I turn it it shifts the POI. I hoping this is just thick grease causing this and will wear in and behave normally...
-to focus the reticle I had to screw it all the way in. Might be my eyes but no other scope has needed that.
-the reticle is pretty much useless below 8 power as it is so small.

So lots of things I like but the jury is still out...
 
That is a common issue with the reticle of FFP scopes, below a certain power they are not useable with most reticle designs.
Under the ocular bell it will say "made in china", it's black writing on a black scope probably in an effort to hide it lol.

I just mounted one on my Rem700 Varmint in .308. I sighted in yesterday.

From the limited amount of shooting yesterday, my only real complaint is the same as yours regarding the reticle at low power.

I found the scope to be quite clear, and had no trouble getting it dialed in with the load on hand.

The parallax knob worked just fine on my scope and the windage and elevation adjustments were bang on in terms of moving the point of impact.

As you say, there is lots to like about the scope, and again, the only real negative I have is visually losing the reticle at the lower end of its power range. However, I don't consider that to be a real problem as I wanted the scope for its higher magnification, and don't intend to use the low end much (if at all).

They only had the SFP on sale in Abbotsford when I was in but I really don’t mind it as the reticle stays the same size in all magnifications so I never loose the reticle in the lower powers like on the FFP. I got the 6-25x50 and mounted it on my stag10. I can’t wait to take it out and try it at the range. For a cheap scope I am impressed so far. Will update after range trip.

They work until the lenses literally blow right out of them. Seen it happen to 2 in one day at the range.

I have it on a 6.5CM now but only playing at 200 working on loads. I'll get it to to 1000 once I settle on a pill.

I've got the 6-24 FFP on a savage VLP 22-250.....clarity at 24 power is good...side focus is touchy...eye box isnt a problem...working up loads yesterday best 5 shot group was .356 inches a 100 meters.
I hate buying Chinese but for the price it really ain't bad.
 
I needed something to tide me over till I figure out what's going to be most bang for buck. I had them send me a 4-16 SFP, I wanted the 6-24, but the reduction of ten MOA in elev/wind adjustments made the choice clear. I had it out for the first time yesterday, it starts to grey out a little at 14X, but I can work with it. I love the reticle though, that centre dot agrees with me, first group after zero, 0.446", the next two were around MOA. as I was getting some hang fires (bad batch of BR4's????). If it proves to be durable, and the tracking is good I'll be content!
 
The SFP 4-16 has me intrigued now. I was going to get a bushnell AR 4.5-16x40 or a Nikon prostaff 4-12x40 for my .22 rifle for plinking. I see Hitzy rates the covenant over the bushnell. Has anyone done a comparison with the Nikon? Would be interested to hear about the difference in clarity and quality.
