Cabela's Instinct Euro Riflescopes sale

Just a heads up. Cabela's is having a 20% sale on all Cabela's branded items. This includes the Euro line (Meopta Meopro). I picked up the 6-18x50 yesterday for $619. The 4-12x50 was less than $500 before taxes. Had I not already ordered a Meopta Zd tactical 4-16x44 already, I would have grabbed them both.

Sale runs through this weekend chain wide.

I have heard good things about the Cabela's Euro scopes.

I was able to take both of these scopes outside the store to view them on an overcast day. They are both very nice optically but the 6-18x50 had a noticeably better image on equal magnification settings. As much as the 4-12x50 was a better deal, the better image, side focus and target turrets that can be replaced with custom turrets on the 6-18x50 won me over.

Update- just put this scope beside my Viper HS 2.5-10x44 as the light is fading. Both set at 6x. Dramatic difference in brightness, sharpness and resolution. I had my 11 year old daughter have a look as well since she has no bias whatsoever. With the Meopta being $70 cheaper right now, there is absolutely no contest.
