Cabela's Optics

No, they are all made in China. They don't state who makes them (as a business practice) but they do state country of origin. At least for the Pine Ridge scopes.

I have a couple. the 3-12 on my .22 is still going strong after two years, but the 6-18 on my .270 finally started rattling and shooting 5" groups the other day. Ah well, nearly two years and about 400rds on it. I called Cabelas and they said to ship it back to them for credit or exchange!:) I'm going to get some snowshoes instead and ordered a Vortex Crossfire 6-24X50AO.

Leupold's binos may not be made in the States, but I'm not 100% positive on that.

Any Leupold product with a gold ring around it is made in the USA including binos and spotting scopes. The Windriver line comes from China. The Redfield scopes (also a Leupold product) are made in the USA but the binos, range finders and spotting scopes are made in China. Leupold does not currently make products for any other company however a few years ago the made scopes under the Leica name. Phil.

Does anyone have experience with the tactical versions? I'm thinking about the 3-12SF to put on my Stevens 200 in 22-250. I would like to try the BDC turrets. I do a fair bit of casual LR shooting(300-600 yds).

Both of mine were the turret versions. I've shot my .270 out to 885 yd and my .22lr out to 350 with the 3-12SF.
One of these would also do the trick and probably be more reliable for the same money.http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/vortex-crossfire-4-12x40-ao-riflescope-fine-crosshair-reticle
