Cabelas Powder In Stock

This morning My supplier sold me the last of his F215M primers for $60 a 1000 I bought 10,000 also sold me the last of his 7828 SSC for $43 a lb. I felt like I wore the lottery.

They aren't shipping powder to the Americans so who the heck is paying these prices?

Scott

I had wondered about this a while back because other auctions were and still are selling H1000 for $70-80/225@xro, and Mag primers hadn't reached $100/215xro in most cases.
Only ones I could see paying these exorbitant prices for those 2 items might be world class 338 Lapua tournament shooters but we're sorta in the wrong season for that here.

But if your the owner/employee I guess bumping up your own bid wouldn't bite you in the azz on the buy-back fees if you 'won' it.

A lot of people look at those auctions and figure out how much it's going to cost them to run around looking for the stuff in smaller shops. Then they factor in their time and the seemingly exorbitant price at the auction, even after buyers fees and shipping are factored in, starts to look pretty reasonable.

With Deisel and Gasoline getting close to $2.00/liter, an inexpensive short run is no longer inexpensive.

There was a time I didn't even factor fuel costs into my gun show excursions. Not any more, now it's a significant cost. Same goes for meals in restaurants.

People are paying those prices simply because the product is available NOW, not ''MAYBE'' LATER.

It's getting to the point of if you see it and need it or want it badly enough, you will have to pay piper's due.

$70-$80 doesn't include shipping, auction buyer's fees or taxes on all of it. By the time everything is factored in, make that well over $100 per pound.
