I have many Russian and chinese sks rifles over the past 30 years.

If I want good accuracy , I grab a chinese version. WAY better.
any one tells ya different is full of it.

you do realize that the russian standard was 11 inches at 100yards, torso size hit.

try dropping a bullet down the barrel on the russian & on the chinese....you'll soon see.

Still waiting since May 3rd for my Cabela’s one... strange... have called them and they have no idea what’s going on. CP shipping label was printed May 8th but it still shows as not having left the warehouse...

I see what you are trying to do but your test is flawed my friend. One rifle is vertical and the other is almost horizontal.

Here's the same test with two Chinese on the left and two Russians on the right.

I don't see much difference but if anything the Russians have the tightest bores.

I'll post a range report but it needs to stop raining first,our range is a mudhole right now.

This is bovine feces.

The original Soviet manual specifies that 4-shot group must be 15 cm max @ 100 m, iron sights, prone. That would be less than 6 inches at 100 yards. Otherwise the firearm is considered faulty and must be sent for repair.

A good specimen will hold 3-4 MOA on a cold/warm barrel if the operator knows what they are doing.

Lol, ok so apparently the Russians reverted to the Metric system cos reasons.

Even a casual glance at the wikipedia article would have taught you better.

It's time for you to stop drinking, at your age it''s not funny. Kinda like your "No cheap SKS anymore" comment you just don't know what you're talking about.

I tell you different. Sorry, but my Russians outperform two Chinese SKS I own. It's only a fair comparison if you put a non-refurbished or mint refurb Russian against a new Chinese. I have owned many and handled even more.
 
That's what the official manual says: 4 shots group must fit in a circle with a 15 cm diameter. At 100 meters it translates to ~5 MOA. The rifle is deemed non-operational if this result can't be achieved with two attempts and must be sent for armory repair. So if you can not achieve this result, it's either your rifle is in a bad shape or you need to work on your marksmanship skills more.

 
You are forgetting something crucial here guys... the Russians and Chinese do NOT measure a firearm’s accuracy while its benched. If I recall it’s not even prone shooting but rather standing off hand.

It must be shot prone from a front rest. That's also from the official manual.

well....you guys must own way better russian models than I had. Non of mine had the same accuracy as my chinese models.
I honestly think you are the select few that managed to find a good one.
OR>>>>>>I was the most unluckiest person on the planet and the 50 or so Russian SKS rifles I owned, were sub standard. LOL

I'm sticking with- chinese are MORE accurate.
"WE" are not ever going to agree on this,.....so I'm glad the russians work for you, like the chinese do for me.

I dont give a 5hit what comes from any book...I ALWAYS go by the "observable evidence",..and thats the Target.

I take it you quite literally have ignored everything on the internet, documentaries, car manuals and more.

Wait hold on....have you actually seen with your own eyes that the earth is not flat? When you saw this with your own eyes was it while conducting tests to ensure it's not a visual trick?
