Doesn't matter what you say. Some people refuse to believe they ship for free. I believe they just are not internet savvy enough to work promo codes I have even posted a screen shot of my checkout page highlighting the credit for shipping charge and they still argue!!

I just see it says ammo is excluded from free shipping in the terms and conditions so have never tried. I've missed some good deals if they do.

Usually Cabela's will e-mail you shortly after the order is placed to tell them how much shipping is for ammo and sometimes it'll just show up on your credit card... It's not cheap either... Happened to me during one of these "free shipping over $99 sales" I can assure you its not free...

Actually they do ship ammo for free with promo codes but I also experienced getting a call days after my order to tell me high shipping fees so go figure !!

Just order what you want and if they call with shipping fees cancel it.

It has been my experience that free shipping applies to your nearest store.
My orders for the Federal Match 922A has always been to the Abbotsford store.

Thanks for the heads up BillyBat. I just picked up a few bricks at the Ottawa store. It is Federal 714 standard velocity and best for bolt action rifles as most semis will not like it. They sell it by the box but if you are in the store they go to the back for the bricks. They need to open one brick as it is sold by the box not brick at the cash. The sales lady said that they had just received a big shipment so there seemed to be no problem buying 4 bricks.
