Cabela's SKS refurb, worth the $199 (sale price)?

My local CTC manager is rumouring about a possible 10% off sale, if he can get authorization from his boss, they are moving in a couple months to a bigger place! That would mean $169.99 minus 10% for the sks,, I hope, I would get at least 3 more! I have seen lots at that price that are worth more easily! Crap I almost hope they don't CC is already in crisis mode!!

Hey Bob old buddy! How nice are those higher end SKS and what other milsurps do they carry? How would you feel about becoming an arms dealer?
The $200 are laminate, and the nice ones are supposedly non refurb, unissued, I didn't look real close but will next time in,, some time this week! Gonna put more pressure on him to run a sale,, not sure you would save anything after shipping and our sales tax is 15% but will let you know what I find out.Hey Bob old buddy! They have k31 and just picked up a couple SVT but wants a fortune for them! Mosins too but the price is $179 and the quality is average. Will check what else he has in stock!
I just got mine in the mail,almost cosmoline free just a little inside,spring loaded firing pin what a surprise,wood is amazing,ok it not blue it black paint but it look good,will post pictures after I strip the stock,it a tula 1950,great job cabalas
Do the tools and pouches and sling come with them?

Pouches are not that hard to get, I just bought a couple oil bottles and bottle pouches for a buck a piece and ammo pouches for $4 each, might even get them a bit cheaper at our local Army Navy store!

I bought one but sold it as soon as I got out the door. Some average guy (average height,average weight,average build) showed his valid PAL, and away he went. Could I identify him if I saw him, hell no.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I had a look at few of them and have received one as well. With my limited knowledge about SKS rifles I would think, that they are coming from the "Molot refurbing place" and have been bought in bulk by European based buyers before being imported into Canada. The laser engraved markings on the barrel just ahead of the rear sight suggests that it was imported last year (2015) as the last number of the engraving is 15. I've seen more of them ending with 14.
I did not know that before! All of my re-furbs have a 14 at the end of the laser engraving. I bought them all early in 2015.
None of my non-refurbs have the laser engraving. Anyone know why the difference?
Yeah, that sounds like the guy that showed me a cosmoline packed 1954 numbers matching franken-rivet unit from WSS that was on sale for $199.99 and 1 from AmmoSupply that was a laminate refurb with a brand new magazine, trigger group and barrel that was marked "Made in Russia" (huh?) and cost $10 more. He said both of them worked flawlessly and the factory stripper clips were better.
Heck of a guy, I think his name was Mike or something.
