Hello,
Looking for my first tumbler. I saw in the Cabelas catalog that they offer their own brand of tumbler at a very reasonable price. Just wondering if it's any good or if I should stay away from it.
Thanks for the input.
Eric

its good but the 'sieve' that comes with it - for removing the media from the brass - is pretty primitive. You'd be much better off with the 'salad spinner' type. Otherwise, the tumbler is great.

the Cabelas tumbler works just fine.
There's some flaking of the bowl, but it doesn't affect the tumbling. I've been using mine without problems for 2 years

I have one, the bowl does show some wear, outter green layer is flaking off, and started after a few thousand brass. But I have used it to clean about 15k pistol brass and another thousand or so rifle, and it's still making noise in the garage tonight!

"...Midway has..." They don't ship to Canada.
"...their own brand of tumbler..." Made for them. Forget by who.
Been using a Lyman Model 1200P for eons with no trouble. Use a cheap, plastic, collander I bought for a buck in a dollar store to separate. Drilled the bottom holes a bit bigger.

I've put a lot of brass through my Cabelas (Berry's) tumbler the last couple of years. The bowl does flake some but I figure by the time it wears through I will have got my money's worth many times over.

The franfurt arsenal tumbler has worked fine for me. I have had mine for three years and have tumbled at least two thousand cases with no problems yet.

Just received one for my birthday - seems great so far. Reviews are mixed, though. If I were picking it up for myself I may go a different route but as a gift it's just great.
