Hey there muzzleloader shooters.
Is anyone interested in taking on the Cabin Fever Challenge this year? We have a muzzleloader division that might interest you.
Basically, the shooter must shoot a course of fire using the standard positions (standing, kneeling, prone, sitting) at a standard 8" target. The muzzleloader division is different than other divisions, you only take one shot per position and the target is set to 50m.
The event is filmed since overall time starting from the first shot is part of the scoring calculation. It also gives you the chance to demonstrate good marksmanship techniques and as a bonus also allows us to demonstrate good loading practices in inclement weather.
The muzzleloader division is completely open, so hunting rigs with optics are cool too. Basically, if it loads through the muzzle then you're good to go.
