Cadex 308 to 6.5 ?

Thanks for the reply, so is it a simple swap or does it have to be head spaced? I'm looking to buy a used cadex in 308 andam wanting to switch to 6.5. If its not a gun smithing thing

Someone who owns a Cadex should correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that it's a simple swap. Cadex should have the information of your rifle on file, and they will be able to headspace it appropriately without seeing your action.

The barrel gets spun up and then shipped to your front door, you can install it at home. No gunsmith required. To install, all you need is an action wrench, torque wrench and barrel vice, and some anti-seize compound for the threads (copper or nickel anti-seize are popular for this application).

In premise, it's really simple, just need the minimal tools.
