Cadex Chassis Systems: Post your pics, questions and answers here!

We offer 20 MOA and 0 MOA top rails for the moment. 30 MOA would have to be a custom order, and the price tag would go up...

For the rail at 9, you probably meant at 6 O'clock. If it's that it's not a problem since we offer the bipod rail as an affordable option, and also two center side rails if it was really the 9 O'clock position that you were referring to.

Yep indeed I did.6 was what I meant 9 is what I typed.

Is there a way to have a bipod stud and rail at 6, it seemed as if that might be possible in the shot show video? How much more for the 30MOA rail ballpark is fine? Wondering if it would be cheaper getting the 0 rail and a Spuhr mount with 30MOA built in.

I dropped the ball and ordered the XLR for my 10TR, so now I'm secretly and very selfishly hoping that Cadex doesn't come up with a workaround for the bottom bolt release. That being said, I'll flip the XLR chassis right away if they do make it work. For now, I'll put all my pennies in a pile until I come up with funds to dress my 700p in one of these lovely chassis systems.

You gotta go with the company that makes what you want! 10TR is where it is at!! :)

Hey do you guys at SJ Hardware carry the MDT LSS Chassis for the Tikka .223 SA as well as the Buffer Tube and Magazine. I am interested in purchasing one.Let Me know before my Wife finds out. Thanks

That thing does look damn ###y. I'll be honest I've been looking at getting a replacement stock/chassis for my Savage and I have always liked the looks of the CADEX. Since I'm cheap I have to ask though if the sections of the chassis could be purchased and replaced without buying a whole new chassis for example:

I went and bought an urban strike, but I decided I wanted to have the stock from the dual strike or a different fore-end for my rifle.

Would I be able to about that, or would I have to sell my chassis and get a new one? I'm not gonna judge you either way if it's a yes or a no, or if it would cost money. Like I said, I'm just curious because I unfortunately I don't have the cash to get a dual strike right off the bat and it seems like the system is modular enough to do that.

No problem for the heavy duty recoil rail on the Strike Lite. Regarding the Jewel trigger, I need to admit that I don't know. I know for sure that we fit the Remington and Timney types.

Drool......God that's ###y.

I was thinking the same thing too, but the butt stock from the Dual and Lite look like they're integrated by a hinge that's built into the design of the the Strike. I'd risk maxing out the CC and pissing off the wife a little if it were possible to have the Strike butt stock on the Urban Strike at the Urban Strike's price point, but I'm just going to wait out until I have the funds to get the full deal.

Ah, yeah when you put it like that I don't see them doing it for free lol. But my understanding was that the piece for the mag well (stock, trigger guard and recoil lug) is all one piece, the fore-end tube and the top rail are all seperate pieces. I was wondering if I wanted to upgrade one of those pieces say send it back to Cadex pay some money and then get that portion upgraded? Thanks for any info you can provide. Also let me know if you want me to PM you this questions instead of answering it publicly as well.

Haha, sorry, you can PM me or ask away, but I actually don’t work for Cadex, so I don’t have an answer for you. I’ve just read up on them a bit and really want some of their products.

Mr. Picard on the other hand should be able to answer any questions you have. If he prefers public or pm, that’s up to him I guess.

Ah my bad mister donut, that's who I meant to ask lol. I re read my statement though and understood how I may have confused you. So Mr. Picard how about my question for swapping portions? Should I pm you? As I said I am not going to judge you negatively if the answer is no, it would be cool though or possibly something to think about in the future to make your systems just about as modular as an AR, with swappable grips, fore-ends and stocks, again just an idea ;)

There's a way to make it happened. But we decided not to advertise it cause it could confuse everybody on the chain of production. Just for fun I'll release the picture to show you how modular is our chassis. but this is not a production model, be advised

We like to call it the Strike Hybrid. This is the receiver of the Strike Lite combined with the front tube of the Field series and fitted with the AR stock adaptor. With this chassis, a customer could decide to upgrade either the stock or the tube in the future, some kind of a two step purchase. He could even decide to install the Strike Lite complete top rail if he wants.

For sure it sound cheaper at first, but you need to realize that on the long run it's more expensive since you have parts that are not used no more + the fact that spare parts are more expensive than buying a complete package. That's why we got rid of that option unless there's a real demand.

THIS is EXACTLY what I am trying to build. I was going to order the Urban Strike and then buy a hinge adapter for the AR stock .... but seeing as you have already solved my problem I won't have to do that. :D

The only problem I see with using an AR buttstock is that is when you fold the stock, you won’t be able to keep the bolt in the locked position. You’ll either ahve to store it open or completely out. The factory Dual and Lite stock have a hole that accomodates the bolt handle.

Just wanted to say thanks to Patrice for answering all my questions, it's great to see a company taking the time to represent them self on CGN. Placed a order for a Strike Lite!

Any vendors want to PM me their price on the Cadex field strike, savage, .308 in black. What is the expected availability for this? If I ordered today when would likely delivery be?

Wow man, that answers my questions in spades! Thank you very much, and I will definately be saving for an urban strike. You guys rock and I can't wait until later in the year when I own one of your guys chassis systems for my very own :D
