Cadex Chassis Systems: Post your pics, questions and answers here!

Here are mine! So happy with it and looks great. All thats left is to get a bigger bolt knob and a loudener on it :D

What is everybody doing to get the cheekpiece higher for a better cheekweld?

I found the cheek rest WAY too low, so I build mine up... a couple layers of cadex and a layer of a silicone rubber, all held firmly to the stock with thick velcro so I could remove it without permanently modifying the stock. That said, I had a field strike (which doesn't have the full length top rail) so my scope is probably .5 lower then yours. If you are interested I can snap some pics.

Here's what I did on mine.

Some slight mod on the buffer tube and managed to raise the PRS cheek piece all the way up. Still not enough and I added a 1/2 thick tube insulation foam. Cut to size and there you go. Perfect for me now.

Do you mean a couple layers of Kydex? Where can i get it, cut myself? Easy to form?

Sorry, yes Kydex. It is very easy to work with, you score it and snap it, and you just heat it to mould it. I bought mine locally from Zelikovitz Leather and Crafts in Ottawa.

Hey, I just almost read the whole thread from the beginning... WHO IS SELLING those piece of art stocks?? Cadex only have suggest retail price... And what if I want to order?

I got mine from One Shot Tactical a site sponsor. I dealt with Mark very professional and always responded to my emails.

They are great to deal with. FWIW they charge full MSRP, so some dealers have better pricing. Speaking as a dealer this is how we like being treated by manufacturers and distributors.

Compared how other cadex dealers respond to inquiries, I would way rather pay a premium and deal directly with Patrice.

Not saying that is you guys, but at least the one in Abbotsford.

Hi guys!

Anybody who dealt with me in the past can confirm that I always mention to the customers that I can manage their order and make sure that they have direct interaction with me (the manufacturer) while still placing their order with their local dealer. Of course I can provide a better level of knowledge about our products as I'm working from the shop 50 hours a week, it's perfectly normal. The chassis line contains over 200 configurations so we can't expect our dealers to have the same level of knowledge about our products, but they are only one phone call away from finding the answers for you.

That being said you'd be surprised to hear that some dealers carry more inventory than us at Cadex! CALGARY SHOOTING CENTER is a great example. Yep your heard me well!

Every weeks I have phone calls from customers that wish to buy from Cadex, 9 times out of 10 I'm able to convince them to save some money by buying through their local dealer. Most of the time I even set up the deal with the customer and complete the sale for the dealer, then call the dealer for him to take the customer's security deposit and once it's done the goods are sent into production. Of course I understand that sometimes customers had such a bad experience at some dealers that they do not want to buy local, we must respect their decision too.

Why buy direct from Cadex when you can call me, get all answers to your questions and still save some money by dealing with a dealer near you. At the end of the day you had top of the line customer service, you saved some hard earned money, Cadex is happy because you support its dealer network and the dealer made some money with not much effort. This is a win/win for all of us.

Thanks again for supporting your local dealer.

Best regards
