Cadex Defence Tremor 50 BMG

Good pick! I have one in all tan as well. Very nice rifle. I would look at the Cadex Falcon bipod as well. It fits directly into the handguard slots. Pretty nice bipod and it matches the Tremor perfectly.

Hello jay - just a question for yeah. I'm from the Ottawa area, what range around here will allow me to shoot 800-1200m? I've gone many times to cannaught, but any other options??

Thanks
Nathan

Sad reality is there isn't a range near Ottawa for the 50BMG. Stittsville doesn't allow it, even though they are just 300 meters. Connaught doesn't allow 50BMG, they are 900m...

So... I'm headed to a buddies in the spring & MilCun. That will be the first chance to stretch the Cadex's legs.

Cheers
Jay

Time to think about handloading Jay. I have a DA50 and an HS50 M1 and ammo adds up. I ended up buying an RCBS Ammo aster kit with the dies included, but then bought a used CH neck bushing die which is awesome! Henry at Budget Shooters or X-Reload have .50 pulled bullets from time to time - run 'em through a Lee .51 bullet sizer to scrape off the pull marks and to make them a bit less oval and you're down to $2/round.

Jay that rifle is a nice set up and the optics is what I would have used. I tried to keep some of the ammo we recently sold to go the same direction as you did but he boss (Dianne) says I have enough guns already and I hardly use the HS HTR in .338 Lapua that I set up a few years ago so I can't really disagree with her that much. Anyway have fun and keep that double ear protection on or you will end up like me with tinnitus. Phil.
