I have a range rifle that I used a cadex receiver with. My goal was to also get a light carbon barrel and swap them out for a hunting/ range rifle when required. It has a 26" heavy stainless barrel on it now for range use.
The prefit receivers, and prefit barrels these days make this quick work and under 10 min. I used a magnesium chassis from XLR with weights for the range rifle, and easily remove them for the hunting rifle version.
As for a full Cadex build hunting rifle, I think there are better options out there for better pricing.
