My vote would be MDT too. I've got an LSS chassis for my Remington 700 SPS tactical in .308. It was definitely a huge upgrade over stock. I'm not going to say anything bad about the AI or Cadex as I haven't tried or used their chassis' but for myself I couldn't justify spending 2-3 times as much for a product that I didn't think was going to be 2-3 times better. Personally speaking if I EVER get a Cadex product it won't be a chassis that may or may not be worth the price...it'll be a Patriot in .338 :)

Mdt doesn't make anything even close to comparable to ai or cadex. They are not even in the same time zone.

I've owned every chassis mdt makes, as well as an ai ax and a cadex.
The 2014+ ai ax was my favourite, though the cadex is a very close second.
I'd try a mpa chassis if I were in the market today.

^ He's asking about the chassis not the rifle.

Op, between the AX chassis or Cadex chassis try them both and see how each fits you.

Un fortunately I don't own any of them... :(

But I would go with Cadez, they're canadian. Both seems to be very good, as the reviews says. There is a lot of personal ergonomy involved, so better have the chance to try both before buying. No very easy, but definetly the best way to know.
On a poor stock of the serial rifle it can be a huge improvement of accuracy. For the more quality ones, it's more an ergonomy upgrade.

I wouldn't say Cadex is the BEST, but I think AI needs improvement for myself at least.

I've never got behind a Cadex, but I much prefer my W3 over my AIAT for fit. The stock is the problem with the AI. It can be read about for previous generations too. It's not terrible, but it has room for improvement for sure.

Neither is "best". The one that fits would be the "best". That word is so subjective.

Exactly. What's best for one person may not be best for another. Ask to meet at a range, send some pm's and get behind some different stocks. Then buy.

I tried the latest AI chassis recently at a gun store. It looks really cool and offers all the features you would want. That being said. I really hated it once I tried it. Pistol grip felt wrong and for some reason it felt cheap even though it isn't and is well built. I really didn't like it, even though initially I thought it would be great and have contemplated getting one for a while.

I do own a Cadex lite strike chassis and a Cadex 308 rifle. For me I made the right choice. I really like the Cadex stuff. My next chassis will be a Cadex.

I also suggest checking them out in person. The one you think is perfect in looks and on features might not in real life work for you. I was unpleasantly surprised and very glad I didn't buy the AI chassis only to find out I didn't like it. The chassis was the newest pistol grip with keymod rail version not the famous thumbhole version.

Please tell me that was with factory ammo and not roll yur own., My Cadex 338 Lapua puts em through the same hole at 100 meters. After 3 rounds I have to change targets so I know I am not missing the target.
