Hi folk's, I'm hoping this post is ok. I'm thinking of selling a 20g summit shotgun, it's had some use but in overall exc condition. I've been trying to get a value on this but I'm striking out, any opinions out there? 20 gauge, 30" barrels.
 
Google The Gun Dealer in Mac Adam NB. He has and has had several Guerini Summits and Summit Ltd guns posted over the past year. I bought a used Summit Ltd 12 ga 32" bbls for about $2850, tax and shipping all in a few months ago. From the Guerini website, the Summit goes for about $800 less than the Summit Ltd. 12 ga and 20 ga are same price new. you should be able to get $2000 or maybe a bit more if in really good condition.
 
More information please . there are various models of the summit . Ross has a summit sporting adjustable listed at 4 grand new . and the summit impact black sporting at 5300 . if your gun in excellent condition I would think 70% of new would be a fair value .
 
I have the summit sporting in 20 gauge and it's a sweet gun, one of the few I've found that fits me perfectly with no adjustable comb and the 30 inch barrels handle very nice. They retail for around $4k new now but a year ago you could find them for $3500 easy enough. 20 gauge sporting guns are a bit harder to sell than 12 gauge are so I'd think that used ones would be in that $2500 range. I don't shoot mine much, mostly just keep it around for my daughter to shoot when she goes out but every time I do shoot it I wonder why I don't do it more often, it's that nice!
 
Thanks guy's I think you're right probably in the $2000.- $2500. area, its a non adjustable model with a nice wood butt plate. An early model it has really nice wood also. Thanks for your opinions.
