I have heard good things about their O/U's does anyone no anything about their semi's?

Don't know too much about the semi autos -- but read that CG actions and bls are made by Fabarm -- posably their semis are also? Fabarm O/U's are a bargain & as good at half the price of the Caesars.

Grouser, where did you read that Guerini guns are made by Fabarm? I thought that the Guerinis are part of the Rizzini extended family and have their own factory in Marcheno, Brescia. The machinations of the Italian gun trade fascinate me, and the more I can learn about who makes what, the happier I am.

I am afraid that I know nothing at all about their semi auto models.

I had heard that the head guy at Guerini had once been one of the top dogs at Rizzini. Left to form his own Co. Caesar Guerini. Those Italians do get around.

Read it in a trade journal about a year ago. Yep they are related to the Rizzni clan (nephews? I think). Their 0U actions & bls have been made in the Fabarm plant. Their shaped wood (unfinished) comes to them via Batista Rizzini. CG assembles the guns & fit & finish the wood in their own shop and do a magnificent job of it. They do represent great value for the $ compared to Beretta & Browning. Gurenni & Fabarm 12 ga chokes are interchangeable. Gurenni has made great marketing gains by getting the right distributer in the US. IMHO, the Fabarm bls have an advantage over the others incliding the CG's with their patented "Tribore" which takes the new over bore guns another step in giving "over 30% better penetration down range". I shoot Fabarm in both semi & O/U and think they are the best kept secret in the industry! By the way, I'm not a dealer.
Cheers

I didn't know that CG had their actions and barrels made by Fabarm but it doesn't surprise me. There is lot of part swapping in the European gun industry. Spanish makers for example all source their barrels and actions from the same place.

As to the original question does anyone import the Guerini semi-autos into Canada? I have yet to see one. Their o/us however are well regarded. There is a two-guage set on the EE that is very tempting. I know it's tempting because I just about bought it myself when the dealer had it for sale.

Claybuster, FN Sports (aka Nicholes) import Caesar Guerini's --- would assume that they would bring in the semi also. You could call them 1-800-361-4867 -- will be interesting to see if the semis are the same gass system as the new Fabarms which seem foolproof.
