Caesar Guerini

More than 5 years after my post above and approx 30,000 more rounds they my Summit, no problems, no appreciable wear to the locking bolt or hinge.
I still love shooting this gun for all the games, but shoot mostly 5-Stand and Sporting.

I had, and wish I still had a Summit Trap combo. Ran into so $ trouble and had to sell it, and that was the only reason. I can't remember the round count I put through it while I had it, I think 8-10,000. Never had a problem with it, I loved shooting it, recoil was almost not there. Patterned very well, and was very adjustable, so with proper setup they hit where you want.

I had a warranty issue with mine, which had no bearing on how it worked, mine had a flaw with the finish. I sent it back to Caesar, the refinished the action, and even refinished the stock where I had a small safe ding. No cost to me at all, and it was as good as new when it returned.

I would recommend one to anyone.

I have a Caesar Guerini Challenger Impact , 32" . I love it ! Very well balanced ,9 lb 12 oz gun which definitely helps with recoil. They are made in Italy , no question....:) I shoot 12-14 rounds lots of days with it and have had no ill effects with it yet. Its a keeper. Try one you'll love it.

A buddy I shoot with had to send his CG back due to doubling. It's fine now. There is at least 10 guy's with CG's ,They all are finished beautifully and only the one had troubles.I like brownings but I'd buy one.

I really don't care what his self proclaimed credentials are if he makes a statement about a certain product he should have the facts at hand . As for Caesars I have a Summet LTD LH Sporting I have put about 5000 round through it and it has worked flawlessly I also have a Woodlander 12ga & a 20ga field guns which have given me no problems . As for other makes I have owned and shot MX8's the most overrated gun in the world ( Talk about self proclaimed)shoot nice but lots of issues I have all so owned different model berretta's good guns over all but I like the way the Caesar handles . As far a the jap guns ( Go to the UK, home of the upper level of Sporting and you see Browning and Miroku all over)go or any other off shore guns most are good $ value but u will never see anyone shooting them at the Olympic's( By this measure, MX8 is the undisputed champion) or the worlds or any other upper level of shooting sports .

So the most overrated gun in the world is also the most successful in the Olympics ?

Know of 4 people with CG's of various models that have had problems with doubling - None the less they are a very attractive looking gun. Stickin' with Beretta though - maybe a MX... down the road.
