Firstly I'd like to thank everyone for the amount of information readily available on the forum, as it helped me answer a lot of question i had about my CFSC Card and my application for PAL and RPAL.

The section where it asks you if you have been certified by a CFO as meeting required certification Or passed a course approved by Attorney General of Manitoba or Quebec prior to 1995.

Now the problem is i do not know whether to mark yes or no as the course i took was around 12 years ago hence the code C on both my Certificate and hunting card. I took it at the Lachine fishing and hunting right beside the fleuve.

So basically what do i mark down so i can mail it off today.

Thank you for your help .

I would mark yes, as i believe you only need to take the course once and its good forever.

I believe that as well but if i mark yes i have to specify and mark an X in proof attached, although i do not know what to specify if that makes any sense :HR:

If you have a copy of your completed courses, mark yes and mark X for proof attached. Send a photocopy of the courses with your app.

Don't have a copy of my completed course so i guess i will mark no. It seems to be a trend back when i took the exam to only receive your cards, thanks for the help hopefully they do not find a reason to revoke my application.

Hey, I dont know if this will help but I never recieved a "hunter safety training certificate" for Ontario. What I did was e-mail the MNR with my particulars, date of birth etc, and the approximate date, person who ran the course, and they sent me an official letter stating I had completed the training. They had the info in their database from 20 years ago. With this letter I'm now covered across Canada and most of the states.

Having the Hunter safety certificate doesn't allow you to own and purchase Firearms or Ammo. However, i'm sure if needed he could get copy's of his completed courses along the same lines you did.

Thanks for the help, I just got back from the post office and now I will have to wait patiently for my PAL.

I decided to wait for my RPAL till next year when i start gathering equipment and most probably a single stage reloading press.

Thanks again for the info:cheers:

My application was approved and my pal is on its way :D

I sent in a photo copy of my CFSC card front and back, and also my hunting certificate just as an extra along with drivers license and all is good the did not ask anything else of me .
