Hey everybody
CSRA is going to be doing a "Battle Rifle" match on Sunday Oct. 23rd. It will be a great warm up for our Battle rifle memorial match on Nov. 6th. Everybody is welcome. CSRA members shoot for free, $15 match fee for non-members.
Rifle must be greater than .223 cal and must be iron sights. No other firearm rules, bring out your SKS , Enfield, Mosin, K98, Norc M14 ect. With $110 Mosins there is no excuse not to make it out!
Course of fire will be Matches 1-8 from the 2009 DCRA course of fire + a "Mad Minute". The course of fire involves shooting from different postitions from 100m-300m and involves 2 rundowns. 84 rounds are required for matches 1-8 plus however many you think you'll shoot during the mad minute. Bring extra!!!! I'd suggest having stripper clips as you will need to shoot 10 rounds pretty fast during the rapids and snaps.
The match will be at the Homestead 900m range.
We are a really laid back bunch. If you are at all interested come on out, don't be shy! Don't worry if you have never shot the course of fire before, we will teach you.
