You fella's have one of the most beautiful rifle ranges in the country, and some fantastic, helpful members. My "club membership" budget is gone for the year, but I strongly recommend this range for people interested in classic target shooting. Really well run organization.

Thanks for the support. Keep us in mind for next year! We have a waiting list for 2019 on the website near the end of the summer, no commitment, so maybe check back in September.

It appears APRA membership is still required.
What are the chances a ‘prospect’ who wants to join the SRCC fails to secure an APRA membership?

the APRA membership is paid when you buy your SRCC membership .. you don't need to apply for it. we collect it and remit it back to APRA. So, it's 100% you are in.

Thanks for everyone who joined the club, we reached our membership cap yesterday and are now closed for new applications until next January. Thanks milsurp guys and gals!

I just went to the page for the Swiss Rifle Club (provided in the link) and there's a banner on top saying "Membership is now closed for 2018. Please check back in 2019 to apply".

I shot several times with the Swiss club in Montreal. Very fine competitors and citizens. One match I fired the Sig service pistol, and I could not throw a shot outside the scoring rings. The most unbelievably accurate handgun I've ever fired. My name is on a big trophy with a base that is at least one-cubic foot of walnut and a cap-and-ball revolver mounted at a jaunty angle.

I especially liked watching slightly overaged men on the firing line trash talking each other in a German dialect I didn't recognize, and then hammering in 300m scores of 290 out of 300 or something. It was priceless.

We do have some really nice trophies.

Yes, as I mentioned in my post this morning (below) we reached our membership goal yesterday and stopped taking new members for this year ... sorry about that. Check back in January 2019 if you are still interested.

It is a little intimidating to watch an eighty year old with a WWI rifle and open sights put 25 rounds into a 3 inch group at 300m.
