Calgary Easter Gun Show - CSC Sale

Once again we have been unable to secure tables at the Easter gun show, however for those going to the gun show please note that we will be having a sale at the store during the Gun Show (details to follow). Please stop by, you might be surprised.
I have a table at the Easter Show so I'm tied up. Will your specials be in effect on the Thursday and Sunday?

Local stores had pretty much quit gong to the BMO ctr a long time ago anyway, pretty disruptive and expensive to do. Simpler to have the annual Easter sale at the store for most of them. No idea what happened with the Stampede board and the AACCA, but, probably got fed up with the cost on having it at the BMO ctr, that place wasn't cheap, was like 15K for 1 50k ft/sq section, 25-30 yrs ago for the 4 days, think that was plus mandatory security too, and no revenue from food. And at that time the only other big venue was the Soccer Ctr, which was occupied that time of year, and not as big. I doubt that situation has really changed much inside city limits..

Any chance you will have any deals on your soft gun case @ 125.00? Thanks

Was and wasn't impressed with the gun show, very few vendors there, pile of nice collection stuff there though. In-store sale was meh. What I was surprised about was how slow the store was at the time I went there yesterday, noonish. Traffic in Cgy was actually sane too, which was really weird, I wasn't fighting traffic anywhere on Thurs aft or Fri noon area.
That venue just isn't big enough for the gun show and how many vendors and sellers would like to go there.

Agreed. Show comes across more as a flea market these days. This year and previous years it's also clearly not a big enough location

I like the days when it was at the Big Four at Thanksgiving and at the Round Up Centre at Easter along with the Blue Mountain Antique Show.

They need to move it back to BMO, way too small now, line ups, too crowded around tables. A shame that tables are turned away considering shooting climate in Canada today.
