Hi all, finally I've joined up on CGN - good to be here.
My shooting history - started at about 5 years old with menacing soup cans and a .22 pistol. Frequent gopher safaris since.
Joined the Calgary & District Target Shooters Association in 1997, been competitive with the Service Rifle, Precision Rifle, and Steel Challenge (pistol quick draw) ever since.
Former member with the CSRA club that shoots the 1,000 yard competitions out in the Kanaskis, did that for a couple years - lots of fun and real challenging.
Former IPSC shooter, did that for a couple years too - what a hoot!
Spent some time wearing a staff shirt at the local indoor range & retail - very good experience in training new shooters.
Just attended my first Cowboy match last week - now I have a pair of SA pistols with my name on them - and looking for a coach gun (external hammers) and a 45 LC lever gun. - yes I enjoyed it and going to do it again!
