Calgary shooting range???

Hello, are there any shooting ranges in or close to Calgary where I shoot could something like a .223 at a 100+ yards?? I heard there was one by the airport but I dont know for sure.
 
I believe the one out by the airport in around Delacour but I think its private, I may be wrong though. Your best bet is to go west of town out to Homestead Range. Take HWY 1 west towards Banff and go south at the Sibbald Flats exit keep going and follow the signs. They also have a website.

There are several good ranges within driving distance to Calgary however most are club access only. There is a public range at the back of the Homestead range just down the road from the Rosebud silhouette club. It has 50/17yrd, 100, 200 back stops. Be careful when you use it ( observe proper range etiquette and safety) clean up your brass and garbage and pull down used targets and chuck them in the garbage cans...and do NOT shoot up the back stop frames... this all reflects on us as gun owners and the range will be closed if vandalism continues.

the one up by the airport is really off 64th ave and deerfoot- on the east side of the deerfoot but the west side of the airport- about 68 ave and 12 st n.e- if memory serves- it's been about 10-12 years since i worked up there- you get off on 64 n.e.,take the turn north from the wal-mart, then bear due east till you get to the fence-( that's the runway)then turn north again- it's at the end of the road

If you were looking at going longer than 100 Yards the APRA Homestead Range has a awesome 900m range with firing points From the 100M all the way back to 900m

The APRA range is awesome and well kept. A membership out there is definitely worth every penny.
