EMT Sent, will bring my Norc... Didn't have any plans to change the barrel or anything like that, but still interested to see you perform your magic...

Is there still room?

Oh yeah, lots of room still. Well more like 5 spaces left, but that's still good. EMT away!!

Guyintoga...

Your EMT was perfect for you and DK. Thanks. Good to go.

Bring on the noobie questions!!! We are a month away!

Cheers,
Barney

Well folks,

We are at the seating capacity of 20 M14 clinic lovers and I have to close things off. Technomad, macsailer, and realtrade are the last to sneak in under the wire. That's a good thing.

Now, I'm gauging the crowd to see how much interest there is for a second clinic back here at TSE in early October.....

Bring on the noobie questions if you got any!

Barney

If anyone pulls out of the 13th clinic please let me know. I gotta get this stupid gun fixed. If no one pulls out, I'm definitely in for a clinic later in the month. Hell I'd pay for a few hours with ya privately if you wanted (got some nice rum and/or wine in it too :p)

Today is Friday 21 Aug 2015, and I have reached the maximum of 20 people in this clinic. I have to close off the registration. Now if there is any interest if an M14 clinic on my return swing through Calgary on Wednesday, 30 Sep 2015....

It's official, I'm coming out WEST to TSE in Calgary. TSE Jr has been so accommodating to host me for three days of clinics and this one is the M14 clinic. Hey, this is clinic number 65 that I've done! I was just updating my resume!

Edmonton Garrison M14 lovers:

This year we are having any participants from the Soldier ON program attend all my clinics for FREE! Come one out and have fun with us! :)

Where:

The Shooting Edge in Calgary. Here's a link to their website: http://www.theshootingedge.com/

When:

Sunday 13 September 2015. One day of clinic tweaking.

Cost:

$ 50 for the DAY

Timing:

Gather for 0830
Casual Start at 0900
Lunch at 12ish to 1ish... I love that Farmer's Market next door for pulled pork poutine! :)
Ending at 1600

Registration and Payment:

EMT the $50 to me with this information:

Name: Tactical Teacher
Question: What was your OLD CGN handle? I was not always tacticalteacher, you know.
Answer: hungry (low caps, no spaces) that way I cannot screw things up
Email: hungry556 AT bell.net

Somewhere in the EMT, remind me of your CGN handle AND which clinic it's for (PR or CQB or M14)

What is involved:

- Tools for tweaking, tools to avoid, tools that are nice to have but expensive, tools that are overrated and too expensive
- Gadgets that are nice to have, need to have, and useless to have (but I had to buy it to show you)
- Tools that you can make yourself instead of buying, tools that you can have buddies (owe you favors) make up for you
- Stripping the boomstick (you will be surprised at what I can show you)
- YES we will try to pull your rear sights apart, and then get serious with them
- Assembling the boomstick, and what to look for so that worthwhile tweaks can be or should be made
- Tweaks that work, tweaks that don't work, expensive tweaks so yer #### does not fall off
- Useless tweaks unless you have more money than shooting ability (many stories to follow at the clinic)
- Common pitfalls, expensive tweaks that work, more ways to ensure that yer #### don't fall off
- Lunch and then tweaking in the afternoon to tighten up your prized M14
- Lots of networking and socializing all the time. This is priceless.
- I am set up to install your .308 Win barrel on your receiver and then FINISH Chamber, then you test fire at TSE

Things to bring for Day 1:

* Your M14 rifle or receiver(s) with barrel(s) to be installed
* Your M14 (or two if you got them)
* Notebook, pens, digital camera, rags,
* Ball peen hammer, Allen keys SAE and Metric
* Punches, screwdrivers, more punches
* Plastic or rubber mallet, wood block or 2 or 3
* Masking tape, duct tape
* Anybody got a Black and Decker Workmate? Bring it along, leave it inside the car/truck until we need it.

Questions?

Bring them on!

I wish I could deliver an M14 clinic in Edmonchuk (I'm a University of Alberta Grad '84) but cannot seem to have a pointman offer up a classroom this spring/summer.

Cheers and warm regards,

Barney

I'm interested in the September 30 Clinic.

Is it a go?

One more sleep. Chilling and hanging around my friend's house in Turner Valley. Life is really good. Just returned from the Okotoks Walmart store and the hunting section had SOG Tactical/riggers belt in L/XL (38" - 42") and I had to grab it for $17.97 (and ONLY GST, no Ontario Sales tax here, beeeyotches)

Now I can chop this belt and add on a cobra belt buckle for extra cool factor... my electrician's tool belt!

I start Electrical Techniques at Georgian College this January 2016. Now I'm gonna be a REAL Contractor! LOL

ha ha ha ha

See you guys tomorrow. The store does not open until 0900 so don't all of you rush there. I'll be there after 0800 with a Timmy's in my hand! We can shoot the breeze in the parking lot. :)

Cheers,
Barney

Sooooper stoked. Loaded up a bunch of ammos, got all my crap packed and by the front door, and ready to go. Dropping the kid off early so I can actually be on time for something, once in my life (this is obviously more important than work so I ought to be on time)
