Caliber conversion options with Dillon 550

The only thing different between the 550 and the 650, when the dust settles, is the fact the 640 offers auto indexing.
You get other stuff like another station that is likely not to be used.
Take it Slow and set up each station one at a time to start. Easy peesy.

love my 550.

right now i can only pump out 300-350 an hour though. Nothing close to what Dillon says but yeah im fine with it

its relaxing.

after each pull of the handle i glance to make sure theres powder and check the level

My only grip with the dillon is that the primer pick up sometimes doesn't pick up when the slide is dirty. Otherwise , love it

Could never image it on a single stage press...turret press i can't see it being much different then a progressive though

the 650 gives you a brass feeder that REALY works & the xtra station you could put in a bullet feeder . but i still like my 550 since i load 5 cals & 13 loads , mostly lead .
