I know this has been posted before but would like the advice. For hunting Rabbit what is better .22 or 12g. Is .22 too small for Coyote? Just thinking that where I might hunt rabbits there are also Coyotes. is 300 win mag to big for dear? Is 243 to small for moose or bear?

The 12 gauge is easier to hit running bunnies with. If were talking .22LR it's to small for coyotes. .300win mag is great for deer. .243 is to small for moose and bear. With the Small game caliber restrictions in S. Ontario it's not easy to do it all with 1 gun.

I just picked up a cool gun for hunting rabbits and if you saw a coyote you coud wack it with a slug. Its a Savage over under combo gun .22lr and .410. Just got it at lunch and an refinishing the stocks as we speak.
