Yeah, but it won't let me pick a .223 load for brown bear...

Not really an oversight, as they are only listing their own Premium loads, and they don't have one for the .45/70.

last year I bought my son a Ruger stainless/laminate lefty in 30-06...you can't ever go wrong with a 30-06 if elk and moose may be on the menu....for a deer only rifle I'd go lighter...7-08,260,25-06,270 or similiar.

i never saw a 308/180 take a back seat to anything- first pick back in 1970 for me, never had occasion to change until i deciided to go after brown bear- never happened, and the 338 /275s ( which you can't get anymore) still sits in the safe

Actually, you can still get 275 gr .338 bullets, but only in Swift A-Frames (and probably Woodleighs as well).
