I recently got thinking about these old gems...

From the days of freedom...

50 rounds of 9mm goodness

Did anyone here ever own one?

How did they shoot?

What did you end up doing with yours?

I had to give mine to a friend in the US. Mine was the M100. Great toy, but prone to parts breakage from shear over use. It balance almost like a pistol over the pistol grip.

Is it true that you were not able to keep it when they were declared illegal or were you able to keep it at home only like a AK for exemple?

I believe they were prohibited and could not be owned: same class as the SP9, Famas, SPAS-12, Barretts, etc.

Yes, I had one...bought it from Gadget at OSS back in the day....yes the goose stepping assmonkeys stole it from me along with my SPAS, AT-9 and MP-5 :(

Too bad you couldn't have a tragic one of these while your guns were onboard ;)

Don't count on it!
One of my club's members just had that happen to him: he was forced to evacuate his small sailboat during a storm in the St-Laurent's gulf and was rescued by a passing cargo. Just before leaving board, he dumped the firearms he had kept with him (his boat was his house for a long while) overboard.
A .303 No.1Mk III sporter, a Remington 870 and a small .32 caliber pistol.
He had witnesses with him.
He's still pestered by the SQ services because they didn't accept the intentional dumping as a means of safe disposal and want to report the firearm stolen...
Go figure.
PP.

I almost bought a Calico M100 back in 93?
At that time my club was having a distributor day.
There were displays from various companies and we were able to try out a number of different firearms.
I was trying to decide between a Calico M100, a HK SP-89 or a Colt Sporter Match HBar 20".
In the end I bought the Colt Sporter.
The Calico was really neat, the SP-89 was really cool as well.
