Almost looks like it was adapted for a handicapped shooter. I guess it was - a legally handicapped shooter (the most severe handicap of all - a shooter can work around physical handicaps, but there's no real solution to idiot lawmakers). All that and it's still an AR, and will still do the same things any AR will do. No wonder STI won't allow it's products to be sold in Kalifornia.

The mag has to be "fixed" - to require tools to remove. Hence the popular, but legally questionable, "bullet button".

Even rimfire rifle mags. Black Dog Machine make cali-friendly 10 rounders for the .22lr ARs.

most states do, but not california...

there's a max of 10 rounds, unless owned prior to the ban... if one owns a standard cap mag, the rifle it's used with must be 'feature-less' - ie no flash hider, pistol grip, etc. (hence the 'monster man grip' in the picture, rather than the pistol grip)

a bullet button + mag with over 10 round capacity = felony
